Looking for a change? Here’s how to change your minecraft character skin in offline mode! It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3!
Step 1: Download or create your own minecraft skin and Save it into your computer (You can save it in your desktop because we will move this into another directory)
- You can download different minecraft skins by different minecrafters in this link.
- You can create your own skin using a pattern, click here to open the character image and then click ‘Save image as…’.
- You can also create your own skin using different Minecraft Skin Editors. Click here to see list of editors.
Step 2: Open your Start Menu and type ‘%appdata%’ in the search box. Press Enter.
Step 3: Open ‘.minecraft’ directory
Step 4: Double click ‘bin’ and then open ‘minecraft.jar’ with WinRAR archiever.
Step 5: In the WinRAR window, double click ‘mobs’ folder and copy the image of the skin (char.png) inside it.
**Make sure that your Minecraft application is not running to be able to copy the image!
Step 6: Open your Minecraft application, Press F5 and there you go! You now look different!
